Relax school uniform policy in Island schools!

Relax school uniform policy in Island schools!
The Issue
For too long have Senior Leadership at Island Schools introduced policies that provide no benefit to the young people of the Isle of Wight. Uniform used to solve social inequalities in education, but now it only creates them. The average cost of a school blazer is a whopping £40! Plus thats leaving out the cost of shirts, trousers/skirts, a tie, jumpers, shoes, not to mention P.E. kit, which can cost close to £100! This is simply not affordable to the average working class family, especially those with multiple children. It also restricts students right to express themselves through what they wear, and limits their freedom, purely for the school's image. Jewellery doesn't affect school performance! These are the reasons why I am fighting to break these rules reminiscent of George Orwell's dystopian 1984 novel, written by a man who himself came from a poor working class family. Help me to help you, by signing my petition. Thank you
