Going before Planning and Zoning commission again Thurs. Feb 13th 7:30 Get the word out!

Here we go again!!! The development behind Mary's Creek is going before Planning and Zoning this Thursday Feb 13th at 7:30pm. New City Hall building on Winscott Rd. The developer is not requesting a zoning change this time, however he is requesting they change the comprehensive plan. for all the properties he owns or wants to develop. From Chapin Rd all the way behind La Catera and to the church. We have to stop this!!! If this passes then the zoning request will happen because it will match the comp plan. Sorry for late notice, trying to keep up is a challenge. If you can make it please do and wear green. I know we have had to do this several times but this is a big one and would really delay the developer if we can get it voted down once again. He is claiming he has community support for this. And community sentiment holds weight with comprehensive plans. It is meant to express the vision of the community for land use. 

He is also requesting to hear the rezoning. Here is a quote from on developers points "Along with this request, the applicant has submitted a comprehensive plan amendment to illustrate a significant change within the community." Let's show him nothing has change.

We have to show up in numbers and show our opposition. Please get the word out!!! Tell everyone you can.
