The DOGE SC legislation, currently being discussed in the South Carolina House (H3926) and Senate (S0318), poses a challenge to effective oversight control in our state. If the current legislature cannot do their jobs effectively by preventing oversight, then it may be time for them to step down in favor of new candidates who can take on corruption in our state.
