Sean Egan, has found himself unjustly removed from his position as Store Manager at Morrisons, Aldridge.  He was spat at several times by a shoplifter and protected himself, other staff and customers. 

Whilst Sean may have breached his employment terms and conditions, the decision to sack him is not morally justified.  Sean is a family and community man that has worked for the company for 29 years.  While big businesses like Morrisons may have the power to make sweeping decisions, they should never forget the individual contributions of ordinary workers like Sean.   It also sends a soft message about shoplifting when there should be a stronger deterrent.  

We urge Morrisons to reconsider their decision and reinstate Sean Egan as Store Manager at the Aldridge location. Acknowledging and rectifying this situation is not only a fair decision but serves as a beacon of hope, reminding every employee at Morrisons that their efforts and dedication are truly valued.
