I, like many others, feel a persistent void in the culinary scene since Chili's departure. Their resurgence in popularity has sparked a renewed interest in Chili's, especially its vibrant Tex-Mex selection. This allure has not only captivated numerous food enthusiasts, but it has also become trendy nationwide, leaving me and countless others in Oregon feeling left out of the culinary conversation.

Casual dining, which Chili's form part of, represented 34% of total restaurant visits in the United States in 2019 (NPD Group, 2019). This data signifies an apparent demand for eateries like Chili's. Losing Chili's in Oregon didn't just deprive us of this percentage but also the experience of partaking in a nationwide culinary phenomenon.

It is high time that we, the people of Oregon, get to engage in this ever-growing trend and have our very own Chili's restaurant reinstated. Our community deserves the shared enjoyment and satisfaction that comes from Chili's food and ambiance.
