There is a big issue with AI, and we need to talk about it.

AI on TikTok is being used by inauthentic “content creators” to make money, it is essentially a cash grab. It should not be allowed.

AI on TikTok is also being used to spread misinformation. The labeling system set in place is not strictly adhered to by many users and reporting the posts do nothing.

This needs to stop.

I am petitioning TikTok to put these rules into place:

1. Clear disclosure of AI content in the video itself, not just the description or tags. Clear as in, legible letters on the video itself staying visible the entirety of the length of the video. 
   2. Monetization of AI content being strictly prohibited. Users cannot make money off of content that is entirely AI generated. 

We need to crack down on the corporations allowing this behavior to take place and poison communities online as well as disrupting public view on political matters.
