As former students, parents, and concerned citizens of Hartland, WI, we have personally experienced or seen the struggles that students at Arrowhead High School face. The lack of support from staff is not just disappointing but also infuriating. High school is a critical juncture in our lives - it's where we learn to navigate adulthood. Yet, when the very people who are supposed to guide us through this journey turn a blind eye to our struggles, it becomes an uphill battle.

The current system at Arrowhead High School does little to assist struggling students. This has resulted in increased stress levels among students and lower overall academic performance compared to other schools in Wisconsin (source: Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction). This situation cannot continue; every student deserves an education system that supports them fully.

We call for immediate action - reforming the staff and system at Arrowhead High School must be prioritized. We need educators who are committed to helping every student succeed regardless of their challenges. Additionally, a comprehensive support system should be implemented that includes academic counseling and mental health resources.
