More than 65,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. Entire neighborhoods flattened. Schools and hospitals reduced to rubble.

After months of independent investigation, the United Nations Commission of Inquiry concluded that Israel has committed acts of genocide.

Yet the U.S. government continues to reject this finding, shielding Israel from accountability and vetoing international efforts to stop the killing.

This is a moral crisis. The U.S. cannot continue to present itself as a champion of human rights while denying the conclusions of a credible international investigation. No ally—no matter how close—should be immune from scrutiny when the stakes are this high.

The U.N. report points to deliberate attacks on civilians, denial of humanitarian aid, and rhetoric from Israeli leaders that dehumanizes an entire population. These are not just tragic consequences of war—they are signs of intent. And intent is what defines genocide under international law.

Refusing to acknowledge these findings doesn’t make them go away. It just makes the U.S. complicit. Every day that goes by without recognition is a day the world moves further away from justice for Palestinian families.

We, the undersigned, call on the Trump administration, the State Department, and members of Congress to formally recognize the U.N. genocide determination, support the international legal process at the ICJ and ICC, and immediately halt all military aid to Israel until full compliance with international law is guaranteed.

Silence is not neutrality. It’s complicity.
