Recall Water Pump In Ford/Lincoln 3.5 & 3.7 engine

The Issue

I have a 2015 Ford/Lincoln MKZ 3.7 with 60,000 miles, While driving down the highway with no warning my engine started knocking real bad and then I lost all power due to the engine stopping. Had I been on an interstate with lots of traffic this could have been a very dangerous situation. After a tow and taking the car to a Ford dealership. I found out that the water pump failed and allowed coolant to go into the oil pan, causing damage to the bearing on the pistons. After research I found this is a design flaw with Fords 3. 5 & 3.7 engine and millions of cars are on the road now that will eventually experience this failure. I have recently had the car into a Ford dealership and had they told me of this problem and the fix was to replace the water pump before it failed, I wouldn't have been subjected to this dangerous driving condition and now I have to pay $9,000 for a new engine because Ford Motor Company designed a engine with a flaw water pump that is installed over the oil pan. The water pump should have a recall or the engine should have a lifetime warranty since Ford knew about this poor design issue for years and did nothing about it. Costing hard working Americans thousands of dollars for a issue they created, not the customer.
