The VCP Stadium has served as a cornerstone of our community for many decades, hosting countless sporting events, concerts, and community gatherings.

However, the current state of the VCP Stadium is in beyond repair. The stadium has suffered years of neglect and disinvestment, with deteriorating infrastructure that will not be safe for much longer. Leaking roofs, outdated facilities, and unsafe seating arrangements are just a few of the issues at hand. 

Sadly, there is no path to repair the stadium and we have to accept that. BUT that does not mean we can't do something better.

This petition is a call to accelerate the rebuilding of the stadium!

Rebuilding the VCP Stadium is not just about the structure, but about investing in the future of our community. In a time where tax breaks for private developers are plentiful, we are rallying support to prioritize this rebuild. We will not wait 5 years for the possibility of improvement, we want it done ASAP.

A new stadium will provide a beautiful modern environment for students running track, group activities, and people who cut across the park to get to their bus in time. A revitalized venue could also attract larger events, bringing in additional revenue and media attention to our area.
We must stand together and pressure local government officials to prioritize the rebuilding of the VCP Stadium. They must pledge to allocate funds to the reconstruction of this structure in the next year AND create a reasonable timeline for the project to be completed.
