Eric Dinowitz is a dedicated public servant and educator who serves as the Councilmember for District 11 on the New York City Council. He has a strong academic background, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government as well as a Bachelor's degree in Music from Binghamton University. Furthering his commitment to education, he obtained a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Hunter College. Before his tenure on the City Council, Dinowitz worked as a Special Education Teacher with the NYC Department of Education, where he focused on fostering inclusive learning environments. His career reflects a commitment to public service and education, prioritizing the needs of his community in the Bronx.
