Ferrets are currently illegal in Queensland yet they are very cute and are just like long guinea pigs. They shouldn't be illegal because there are other rodents that are allowed to be pets in domestic households. Ferrets are just like any other animal and shouldn't be restricted as they are legal in other places. Any animal is going to harm other pets if they are let out so ferrets shouldn't be illegal. They bring no harm to humans unless they are stressed or being harmed. Maybe we can agree on having a license with a reasonable cost so the owner is more prepared and understand that its more serious when there's a license involved. This will also make the situation a lot more organised. Please consider all this.
