We are at a point in time where not even our innocent children are safe. But we can do something about this!

I am a mother of 3 beautiful babies, and just like the rest of the worlds parents, I worry deeply about my children. We are entering a world where we are not safe, our children's lives are looked down on. But it doesn't have to be like this. This should never have to be an argument but instead a discussion of how to better protect our children, the future. The fact of the matter is that we cannot control every individual, but we can ensure safety and protection on our campuses.

Please join me in the fight to protect our children. We need our state representatives to find it in their hearts to see that no child's life should ever be at risk. That our children's lives are worth protecting. Lastly, that as we stand together, we will never give up. 

Some of many ideas can include:

• Armed security. This can include a program to give approved veterans employment that hold knowledge, skills and experience. Also, local law enforcement. At this point, parents are offering and willing to also volunteer time to stand guard.
• Bullet proof windows and classroom doors
• Powerful locking mechanism at each classroom door
• Bob head wired fences to have more control of all who enter and leave the premises

This is just to start. But even with just the above listed, can make a world of difference in preventing an intruder from harming any individual on school campuses.
