For many residents of Camperdown and the surrounding areas, basketball is more than just a sport; it's a vital community activity that fosters healthy exercise and social cohesion. Unfortunately, the lack of shaded cover over the Camperdown basketball courts is preventing thousands from taking full advantage of this communal space. The  unpredictable weather make it challenging for people of all ages to enjoy playing basketball, deterring both kids and adults alike.
