META’s mission is to engage with schools, parents, and government to help high school students improve life skills and educational outcomes through their passion for Esports and gaming. It will be possible through the support of the school, our committee, teachers as well as parents. We believe that Esports is a healthy, challenging and fun activity that can play a formative role in building life skills, and its strive to create the highest quality experience for all of the future students who will take part in this club.

Recently the META Esports club was terminated due to concerns about the participating students well being. However, META Esports clubs are present in schools across Adelaide, this schools provide their students the opportunity to develop their skills in an environment of teamwork, communication and support. Building these valuable life skills through the activities involving Esports can be crucial to the future of all students. 

Rules:

-Students must be passing all of their subjects

-Students with a history of bad behaviour will not be allowed to participate during or after their time in suspension/other penalties

-All members are required to get a signed parental permission stating that they are allowed to participate in all club activities

Guidelines are present in order to ensure students are successful in all other aspects of schooling. This can provide an incentive for students to prioritise their education and other commitments so that they are able to effectively participate in the club.
