Currently in the US, funding for research has been drastically cut. Millions of people around the world will feel the impacts of this for generations to come. As Canadian students, we must ensure that our research budgets remain untainted by similar political machinations. We petition the government of Canada to guarantee a minimum level of funding for the sciences for at least the next decade, in order to ensure our world-class institutions can continue their business as usual. Save our science!
