Victoria's Secret: Paying for Cruel Animal Testings in China
The Issue
A very popular brand that most people have heard of is now testing their products on animals in China, resulting in many curious and compassionate consumers to be let down all over the world. This brand is called Victoria's Secret. For many years, Victoria's Secret's brand has been prone to testing their lotions and fragrance products on innocent animals. (such as rabbits, mice, guinea pigs, and even birds) Just recently, Victoria's Secret's brand has confirmed to the PETA that they will begin selling their products to China again. China's policies require that all supporting parties from other countries are required to seduce their products into animal testings before selling on China's grounds. This means that because Victoria's Secret is now selling their products to China, they are considered a brand that cruelly tests on animals. Victoria's Secret has been removed from PETA's list of companies that do not test on animals and has been placed on the list that does test their products on animals. The PETA has also received pledges from many other companies (including The Body Shop, Urban Decay, Bath and Body Works, and NYX cosmetics) ensuring that they will never sell to China while animal testings are required. Together, we can help innocent animals like rabbits and birds escape these terrible testing labs. By buying products that test their products on animals and sell to China, you will be giving into these companies revenue, causing them to produce and test more products. Always do research about your cosmetic products before purchasing them in store, as well as educate friends and family about brands not to buy from!
