The United States is one of three countries in the world (Liberia and Myanmar) to have not officially adopted the Metric System as our official system of measurement. We have the legislation in place to fully adopt Metric, except for a contemporary Metric Board to help with planning and education for local governments and the American people. 

We are requesting that the President of the United States re-establish the Metric Board and lead a good-faith effort to unify the United States in adopting Metric as the standard of measurement. 

The effects of this would support long-term STEAM education and strengthen international cooperation.
