The world is dying. Most of us know. However, why isn't there enough knowledge of its causes and its devastating effects? If you know, you would be taking more action, whether it's a big scale or small scale, anything helps. Most of the knowledge we get is from our education systems as we grow up and unfortunately, not everyone gets the same education or even an education. Unfortunately, these days, the most important matters are only found on the internet and that's only if you search them up. So, let's do something about that. Let's get the knowledge of climate change to our school curriculum.

The older generations tell us that when we get older, we'll be able to change the world, but surprise surprise, we do not have that long. We need to start now. The Paris Agreement, a convention of countries to combat climate change, has a goal to reduce the global temperature to below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. According to the NOAA 2019 Global Climate Summary, there has been an 0.18 degrees Celsius increase in global temperature since 1981 per decade. By the year 2030, we will not be able to reverse these changes, instead these changes will rapidly increase, causing disasters on a global scale that includes, major rises in sea levels, increase in droughts and heatwaves, lack of clean water and food supplies, major extinctions of wildlife, and more. 

The first step to solving these problems is acknowledging it's a problem. Now that we have at least that much, to make a difference we must be educated on these topics and it all starts with putting this into our school curriculums at a young age. We must solve the problems that future generations have left us, and we need to start immediately. We must save the world; we must get educated
