The hope of this petition is for Civil Air Patrol (CAP) to switch the uniform from ABUs to OCPs. Civil Air Patrol is the Civilian Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. The main missions of Civil Air Patrol are Emergency Services(including search and rescue missions), aerospace education for the American populace, and cadet programs. 
Currently the Army and the Air Force wear them OCP uniform while CAP is still stuck wearing the ABUs. It would be better for CAP as a whole to switch to OCPs because OCPs would be cheaper. There are a lot more OCPs in existence over ABUs. Because they are used by both the Air Force and the army there are different gear to go along with it. Also, most CAP members and Members if the Air Force HATE ABUs but love OCPs. Why not allow the volunteer force of the Air Force to wear what they would be proud wearing.
