Let me start off by thanking you in advance for taking the time to consider signing my petition!

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved animals and thought all animals should be treated with as much dignity and respect as humans. I can no longer sit idly by while countless animals, including endangered species, are being killed off. The mission of this petition is to ban hunting all around the county as there is no need to murder or slaughter our animal brethren, but I can’t do it alone. I’m looking for other animal lovers who value the lives of other species and believe that we need to embrace their existence not extinguish them.

The term Pro Life comes to mind as it gets thrown around in today’s world, but not many people actually understand what it means. Pro Life means to protect all living things, not just picking and choosing who are deemed worthy enough. So why aren’t other living things given the same rights and protection as we grant ourselves? A human’s “legal” right to enact violence upon another living thing is absurd and doesn’t outweigh another specie’s right to live. Why do we have the audacity to grant ourselves superiority and play God when it’s our species that is destroying the planet and at the center of everything that’s wrong in the world? 

If you’re a fellow animal lover and want to help with ensuring all living things are given the opportunity to live full and healthy lives please sign this petition so that we can get the government to ban hunting of all sorts and all unnecessary acts of violence toward animals entirely. And for those of you who are on the fence of this issue, put yourselves in the shoes of the animals that lose family members due to hunting. It might not make a difference in your everyday life, but it would mean the world to the other animals on this planet!
