Those of us on animal advocacy and human rights social media sites see daily nightmarish examples of cruelty to animals, people and the environment by businesses and private citizens of China.  Examples of this include:

- burning with blow torches dogs and cats while they are alive for food and also skinning them alive for fur;

- Importing animal products, such as Rhino horns and Elephant tusks;

- factory workers (who make products for use by Americans and others) working in slave like communities and suffering high suicide rates due to the poor working conditions;

- importing animal treats and foods that are literally killing our pets;

- raping the environment for all it has to give. 

This must stop!!!  If we know about it then our social conditioning and ethics demand that we take action!!!   

If you care about the well-being of animals, people or the environment - this is your opportunity to take a stand.  This is your chance to bring about positive change.  This is your chance to do something!!!

If you sign this petition you are pledging that (until there is significant positive change made by China to treat animals, people and the environment better) you will start phasing out made in/sourced by China products from your life.  Every week or every month you pledge to make fewer and fewer purchases of products imported and/or sourced from China until there are no more made in/sourced by China products being purchased by your household. 

There is minimal support for a ban to products made or sourced in China, because there are so many products made/sourced there.  But guess what?  If the products are not purchased they will stop being sold in our stores and replaced by something not made/sourced in China.  Another country or countries (maybe even the United States) will pick-up and take advantage of China's loss. Money talks!

So, please sign this petition and by doing so give your pledge to phasing out purchases of made or sourced in China products. 

This petition is to be sent to the President of the United States, so that he appreciates where we are coming from on these critical animal, human rights and planet issues and takes action accordingly.  It will also be sent to the President of the People's Republic of China, so that person may take appropraite action to bring about positive change or slowly watch the country become irrelevant when it comes to the business of factories and exporting of products.
