Graduates from Universities, Polytechnics and ITE in previous years have had graduation ceremonies to celebrate the end of years of studying and hard work. However, due to Covid-19, all graduation ceremonies have been cancelled. However, this is not fair for graduates of 2020.

Although we are concerned about the safety of the people globally, and we agree that cancelling graduation ceremonies is the right thing to do; It would have been better to postpone it instead. Let our graduates and their families have the ceremony and celebration that we deserve for our hard work and efforts throughout the 3-4 years that we have spent in school.
It does not matter when it will be held. Therefore, we, graduates of 2020, urge Universities, Polytechnics and ITEs to consider postponing all graduation ceremonies rather than cancel them.
