Today, we experienced an eclipse of the sun in North America. The moon completely covered the sun. It was seen from Oregon to South Carolina. In Chicago, we saw a partial solar eclipse. The moon covered 87% of the sun. It was awesome! This is a rare event! It demonstrated the artistry of nature and its beauty. It revealed the greatness of the universe.. This event mirrored the power of St. Thaddeus Church, its history and future. The moon covered the sun and revealed its corona. The corona contains the most intense rays of the sun. It is hotter than the visible surface of the sun. The powerful history and mission of St. Thaddeus Church in our community is being revealed by its closing. We are the corona!
