The mission to get iRobot Scoobas back in stores!

 

Listen. I love Roombas and Braavas as much as the next guy, but the iRobot Scoobas are SUCH a necessary addition to the lineup. I don't know why iRobot felt the need to replace them.

 

First of all, they clean MUCH better than the Braavas. This is because they have a fast scrubbing brush, strong suction, and a powerful water pump to deep clean your hard floors. The Braava just has an easily clogged pump and a wash cloth for a pad.

 

I'm not saying I hate the Braavas, but i'm just saying there's a huge difference in quality and performance.

 

Secondly, the Scoobas are easier to use. Instead of downloading an app and connecting to wifi, you can simply press the power button, and then the clean button. Lastly, they included Virtual Walls to keep the robot from going into areas you don't want it to go. None of the Braavas have Virtual Walls.

 

I found a Scooba at my local Goodwill in August 2022, and I was pretty disappointed when I found out that I couldn't easily get a new one when it broke.

 

So please, iRobot, take this petition into account. There are many disappointed robot vacuum collectors, both young and old, who want you to bring back the Scooba. 

 

EDIT-August 15, 2024: I think iRobot may be trying to bring back the Scooba with their new release of the Roomba Combo 10 Max, a robot that can clean its own pad and base station, and suck both clean and dirty water into two tanks in its base station. You're getting warmer, iRobot.
