As of today, we got 452 supporters who have already signed our online petition. In the meantime, Jong Cabrestante and Rosana Gacot of PCSDS went to the DepEd on June 11, 2018 to submit an initial 82 signatories who manually signed our petition. In addition, another employee from a government agency has gathered 100 signatures for submission to the DepEd. That brings a total of 664 signatories and counting. We're waiting for more signed petitions to come, and we'll continue to campaign for Cuyonos to sign our online petition. In the meantime, here is one troublemaker that I have removed and blocked from our group Cuyonon Kita together with some friends and relatives who belong to their group. We're almost 40,000 that could be swayed and get confused by their Cuyonon Orthography. They're not assets but liabilities. I have removed toxic people in my life who are misleading our Cuyonon people, especially the vulnerable young ones. Their 19 letter Cuyonon alphabet with imo-imong pagsurulaten (made up way of writing) must not be allowed to prevail or influence DepEd because this will corrupt our Cuyonon tradition and culture. If you remember two Saturdays ago, someone claimed in a live program that in their group, there is no badmouthing, nothing derogatory statements against anyone. THAT'S A LIE AND THIS IS THE PROOF. They're undermining the DepEd, just because DepEd is about to implement the research output of Ortograpiang Cuyonon. According to this post, "Show proof or evidence to see if the news is true." Further, it stated, "The news that DepEd made a research to create Ortograpiang Cuyonon cannot be confirmed unless we read a research report." Baloney! DepEd has made an extensive research. According to DepEd, these people got the same copy of Ortograpiang Cuyonon that was sent to me. However, I'm not in the position to post or divulge its contents until DepEd has posted it publicly. The Ortograpiang Cuyonon will be shown to the public as scheduled. DepEd Supt. Servillano Arzaga has sent out a memo announcing the validation in Magsaysay to be held on June 26, 2018. They will teach the teachers on how to implement the Ortograpiang Cuyonon. They will also show to the elders that what has been discussed last year was also followed. The validation is also the onset of preparation for primer production. To listen to these people who do nothing but spread fake news is a waste of time. Try tuning them out of your system.
