The Issue

We are excited! You should be too! NTI was selected to be honored, out of 22,000 non-profits, to have the Prudential Building in Boston lit in the NTI colors.  NTI helps place Americans with Disabilities and Disabled Veterans in positions nationwide with Fortune 500 companies. We only recently found out about this and it is going to be held on December 3rd, 2016, the International Day of Individuals with Disabilities from 4:30-7:30 PM.  An after party will take place after the event. Our goal is to increase awareness of Americans with Disabilities as well as the impact NTI has on peoples lives within the United States.

The Issue

We are scrambling together to get sponsors, technology presenters and speakers together in a short amount of time (by November 4th)! Maybe you can help?  We are looking for a dignitary from the U.S. Government or United Nations to speak about the importance of Americans with Disabilities and the impact within the workplace. However, most of the officials we spoke to are booked on that date.  In addition, representatives from the United Nations are also booked because they are having their own event. Maybe you can help us connect with someone who may be a presenter? Our goal is to have 4-6 presenters.

In order to run the event, we can use funding through sponsorships to subsidize the costs involved, both for the event itself, but for the travel expenses, technology, signage and marketing materials as well as the the after party.  The sponsorship packages are highlighted below.

What we do have

  • The area for the event itself within the Prudential Building, not the after party
  • Technology presenters to showcase assistive technolgies
  • Autograph session in conjuction with Barnes and Noble with one Paralympian who released her book
  • Speaking sessions with Gold Medalists from the Cybathlon and Paralympics
  • An event microsite which will be available, Tuesday, October 18th
  • Artwork exhibit from the Museum of Art
  • Musical performance from the Boston Conservatory
  • A database of over 100,000 Americans with Disabilities
