Since that one failed, this petition is now about mega evolutions not being put back to rest in the Gen X games, in fact maybe it should bring back all the gimmicks that the series had:

*Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon. *A chance for newly introduced mega evolutions in Legends Z-A to be featured in a game with the regular sort of gameplay and functions.
*A chance to prove they didn't mess up with what didn't gain new mega evolutions in Legends Z-A.
*Something to achieve from taking 4 years as opposed to 3 years to work on those games.
*It's already known that mega evolutions are doable outside Kalos.
*There are some things such as counterparts to what has mega evolutions that can't wait with having such as well or something similar.

So there could be a chance for there to be mega evolutions of Slowking, Toxicroak, Clawitzer, Turtonator and a few others as well, to which put they'll be able to keep up with their counterparts Slowbro, Scrafty, Dragalgae and Drampa, since we all know how things with counterparts in the Pokemon series, whatever ones does the other does as well or something similar, not to mention the stages in their evolutionary lines which currently are not up to date with certain Pokemon counterparts. One thing's for certain with the Gen X is that it's looking to have every Pokemon with a newly introduced evolution in Legends Z-A get featured, kind of like how Scarlet & Violet had all Pokemon from Legends Arceus with an ancient form or a newly introduced further evolution, including such would give them a chance to have their mega evolutions work in the usual gameplay format. I wouldn't mind if there's not a lot of newly introduced mega evolutions in the Gen X games, just as long as there's something from every gen at the time, and that they include ones I mentioned. After that mega evolutions along with the gimmicks of other regions will then be put back to rest until the next time we see the regions they hailed from past or present, mega evolutions in particular would be most likely be a gen that offers X&Y remakes after Gen IX didn't offer such.
