This petition is being written with genuine disappointment and frustration about the decision to prevent my (Mahira Ammar 10H's) participation in the Stubbers school trip this Friday.

 This trip is not just a day out; it is an important educational and social experience that I have been looking forward to for the past 2-3 years. Being excluded from it feels deeply unfair, especially when the reason given is linked to medical needs that are fully manageable with simple, reasonable support.

It is upsetting to feel as though these needs are being viewed as something too difficult or impossible to accommodate, when in reality they can be easily understood and properly supported with basic planning and care. The message this sends is discouraging: that having medical needs automatically limits access to opportunities, even when there are clear and practical ways to ensure safety and inclusion.

No student should feel left out of experiences like this because of assumptions about what they can or cannot manage. Inclusion should be based on solutions, not exclusion. What is needed here is not refusal, but willingness to put appropriate support in place so participation can happen safely and confidently.

 This situation has caused real disappointment, as it feels like an important opportunity is being taken away rather than protected through reasonable adjustments. It is hard to accept that something so important to students can be dismissed instead of supported, especially when I was dismissed by staff simply for having an emotional reaction to the news that I wouldn't be able to attend.

 By signing this petition, supporters are asking for a fair reconsideration of this decision and for proper attention to be given to how easily these needs can be accommodated. The goal is simple: to ensure that no student is excluded from meaningful school experiences when safe and practical solutions already exist.

 We are asking for understanding, fairness, and the chance to be included—just like everyone else, rather than being micro-managed by people who had not even heard of my non-chronic temporary illness prior to this week and were not bothered to hear an explanation of how my condition actually works; yet instead chose to exclude me from the trip rather than bother to learn how they can easily facilitate me.
