They are single use, petroleum-based, plastic junk. And they make so much more work for the cleanup crews. Even though they're not the heavy ones anymore, it's still obnoxious and unsettling to be hit with one when you're grooving really hard in a jam. Chris Kuroda is the true master of lighting!
