Young Americans are struggling how to be productive adults and know basic life skills. Bringing back Home Economics classes would provide students the basic skills like cooking and financial literacy that they so desperately need when they enter college and life after education. Every skill attained in a Home economics class is useful for a liffetime. Providing classes they can take while in school takes some of the responsibility of the parents and gaurdians. It also ensures that every student is granted the opportunity to learn basic life skills they may not be learning at home.
