We are signing this petition to inform you that we will stand together in support of UWE academics and staff and that we are calling for transparency and fair treatment from UWE management.

We stand together against compulsory redundancies.

We call for transparency about UWE's finances including providing UWE UCU with:

• Information on how much UWE has been spending on managerial 'S-grade' employees and how this spending has increased over the past six years.
• The release of detailed information on UWE expenses as requested by UCU and other unions.

We call for better working conditions across the University including:

• Manageable workloads that do not force us to do unpaid work in the evenings and on weekends
• An end to reliance on temporary contracts for essential teaching
• Equal pay for equal work: ending the wage discrepancies in pay for certain groups

We support UCU's Reclaim HE campaign calling on the government to reform the higher education funding model and put an end to student debt.
