We, the undersigned, call upon the appropriate authorities to honor the final wishes of the late Brett Braswell, an icon of flamboyance, by allowing his remains to be cremated and his ashes transformed into biodegradable confetti for the 2027 New York City Gay Pride Parade.

Brett believed that life should be celebrated loudly, colorfully, and with absolutely no shortage of glitter. What better tribute could there be than allowing his final farewell to become part of one enormous celebration of love, joy, and Pride?

We ask organizers and the public to support this beautiful and heartfelt proposal: Let Brett Braswell go out with a bang—and a shower of confetti.
