To: Local City Councils, Mayors, County Commissioners, and State Legislators

We, the undersigned residents, demand an immediate end to the use of Flock Safety ALPR cameras in our communities.

Whereas these solar-powered license plate reader cameras track every vehicle that passes, not just those suspected of a crime;

Whereas dozens of cities across the U.S. have already terminated their contracts with Flock, including Los Angeles, Denver, Chandler, Fort Collins, and multiple communities in Michigan and Pennsylvania, citing privacy violations, breach of trust, and unauthorized data sharing;

Whereas there has been little to no public vote or transparency before these cameras were installed on our public streets;

We believe public safety should not come at the cost of constant, warrantless surveillance.

We call for:

1. Immediate Moratorium: Stop all new installations and do not renew existing Flock contracts.
2. Removal: Take down existing Flock cameras on public roads and public property.
3. Data Deletion: Require Flock Safety to permanently delete all license plate data, images, and location history collected from our community and ban any sharing with federal agencies or third parties.
4. Transparency and Consent: No surveillance technology of this scale should be adopted without a public hearing and a public vote.
5. Real Public Safety: Invest those funds in proven community safety solutions, not mass surveillance.
