Petition to Harrow Council:

We, the undersigned, call upon Harrow Council to refuse permission for any further over development of the Harrow Tesco site.

Tesco stores intend to submit plans to redevelop their Harrow site on Station Road/Hindes Road to create flats including a 15 storey tower block. As Harrow, residents we know the area's infrastructure, schools, GPs, transport links cannot take this overload to what is already a busy and congested area.

Harrow Council has in recent years built more than its fair share of new properties. The targets for new housing in Harrow have already been exceeded and residents are not prepared to suffer any more. There are many tower blocks already that remain unoccupied and several still to be built at the nearby Kodak site also.
