Anti-Racism curriculum to be taught in schools

The Issue

We all know that racism is learned. In order to change the current trajectory of racism and injustice, it is imperative that an Anti-Racism curriculum be taught in schools.

All students must take a history or social studies course, and this curriculum could be integrated into these courses.

Children are inquisitive by nature  and studies have shown that children as young as 3 years old can benefit from discussing topics such as cultural and racial differences in order to better understand themselves and eachother.

We ask that this curriculum be mandatory and be introduced in elementary school and continued into high-school with more in depth topics, such as systemic racism and racial injustice. This would help parents or caregivers who do not quite know how to navigate the topic of racism or are uncomfortable doing so.

Remember we are all human, we are all in this together, and WHEN RACISM WINS, WE ALL LOSE.Please sign this petition.
