Pam Bondi Must Honor the Congressional Epstein Subpoena

Pam Bondi Must Honor the Congressional Epstein Subpoena
The Issue
The House Oversight Committee — in a rare bipartisan vote — subpoenaed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify about how the Justice Department handled the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Now, she's refusing to show up.
Bondi was removed from her position by President Trump on April 2, 2026. Almost immediately, the Department of Justice signaled she would not appear for her scheduled April 14 deposition, claiming the subpoena only applied to her as attorney general — not as a private citizen. But members of Congress from both parties are pushing back. The subpoena was issued by name, not just by title, and lawmakers say she is still legally obligated to appear.
The Epstein files represent one of the most significant federal investigations into the sexual abuse of minors in recent history by a man with close political ties. Congress has a constitutional duty to ensure that investigation was handled properly — without political interference or cover-up. If the Justice Department made errors, missed deadlines, or withheld information, the American public — and especially survivors — have a right to know why, and only Bondi, as the official who oversaw that process, can answer those questions under oath.
We are calling on the House Oversight Committee to enforce the subpoena and, if necessary, pursue contempt of Congress charges against Pam Bondi. Accountability cannot be optional. The law applies to everyone — including former cabinet members.
Sign this petition to demand Pam Bondi honor the subpoena and appear before Congress.
