I'm tired of seeing my peers in Lubbock struggle to be creative and have nothing fun to do in our area to redirect our minds from violence. It breaks my heart to witness friends and family feel trapped, resorting to situations filled with real guns and heightened tensions. We all deserve a colorful escape, a way to exalt built-up pressure and stress that bounds our community. 

This is why I believe establishing a paintball gun arena on the east side of Lubbock, Texas, can be a game-changer. Imagine a place where people of all ages can come together to enjoy a thrilling and safe sport. Instead of using real guns, we'll wield colorful paintball guns in a fun and exhilarating environment. This arena will serve as an outlet to channel frustrations and energies positively, fostering friendships and community bonding.

Just like many cities across the nation with successful paintball arenas, creating a similar space here can provide an additional recreational facility where safety and entertainment are prioritized. It’s about offering a positive alternative to keep our youth engaged and away from the streets.

I envision this paintball arena as a community effort, showing that irrespective of financial means or skin color, change is possible when we unite. To manifest this vision, we need the support of community members, local businesses, and city authorities.
