West Tree Estates has since relinquished properties on Ducie Street and a number of nearby properties in the Granby area, creating an opportunity to do things differently.

Residents in Granby are increasingly being priced out of their own neighbourhood due to rising rents and developments that do not meet local needs. There is a clear need for genuinely affordable, family-sized homes.

We are calling for development on Ducie Street to be for the community and with the community, with meaningful local involvement at every stage. This petition exists to ensure redevelopment benefits local families and residents, and that what happened before can never happen again.
