Change the layout of Earl armstrong and Spratt roads intersection in Barrhaven,Ontario

The Issue

Today is March 30th, 2021, I've lived in Barrhaven for 2 years now and have somehow managed to witness 3 crashes at the same intersection. I decided that today I would finally look into this intersection and see how long this has really been going on. A quick google search along the lines " Crash at Earl Armstrong and Spratt roads intersection" the oldest article I found was dated to July 4th, 2014 where 3 people were injured and 1 was seriously injured. (https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/south-ottawa-head-on-crash-sends-3-to-hospital-1.2697166 These accidents happen every year and they have not made a change.

The Reason that this keeps happening is because of the layout of the intersection. When you are traveling either direction down Earl Armstrong road, and you go into the turning lane at the same time as the person coming into the opposite turning lane, They completely block your view of the road and you cannot see if there is any oncoming traffic no matter how much you pull up and angle yourself.

So far there has been nobody standing for this change. Earl Armstrong is an 80km/h road, which also has an issue with the traffic lights because most of the time despite having been in the turning lane you will not get an arrow light. Personally, I have not gotten into an accident at this light but I'm tired of it happening to people, 2/3 of the crashes I have seen had children in the vehicle.
