Designate jojos (fried potato wedges) as the official state vegetable of Oregon!

The recently pulled House Concurrent Resolution 1 introduced by Rep. Mark Owens, R, aiming to designate onion as the official Oregon state vegetable, has brought attention to the fact that there is an opening to fill the hole that is Oregon's official state vegetable... a jojo shaped hole!
The jojo fried potato wedge is a bit of a cheeky veggie choice, highlighting Oregon's independent nature.  Despite the jojo's disputed origin, it has a pacific northwest uniqueness, and is ubiquitous across the state. Have you ever been to a gas station or small town grocery store in Oregon that didn't have a delicious deli case full of jojos?
