As pharmacy technicians we are essential part of the team to provide patient care to all patients with COVID-19 and other patients needing care at this time. We prepare, dispense and deliver medications to the COVID patient units and have interactions with nurses and other professionals. As well, we enter the OR suites daily which are designated for COVID patients, during procedures. By working, we are also putting our families at risk. We are demanding the same pandemic pay as other Health professionals.
