Opposing DRO’s interference in functioning of ECWA(RWA)& Unjustified Appt of Administrator
The Issue
This petition stems from a personal struggle. As residents who dutifully pay our high maintenance fees within our society, we feel our rights are violated by the controlling might of the builder and the District Registrar Office (DRO). Despite the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) being functional, the DRO and other authorities appear toothless and impose unnecessary rules that are beyond their remit. An ongoing issue is the DRO's intent to appoint an administrator based on the false plea of three residents. This is a direct infringement upon our RWA's rights as established under the HRRS Act 2012.
A concerning point is that the DRO, which should operationalize as unbiased advocates for all residents, seems unduly influenced and ignorant of the majority's wishes.
Consequently, Election is due and in abeyance due to unjustified order and interference of District Registrar office upon petition of only 3 members of society which is against existing of RWA while the DRO's decisions have been rightfully contested to the State Registrar authorities, despite of this information of seeking higher authorities for justice DRO office is trying to dictate its ruling on RWA.
However, with every effort seemingly futile, we stand at a crossroad demanding change. It's imperative to note that such a scenario is not peculiar to our society alone. There are thousands of other societies where residents are struggling to protect their rights from higher authorities.
Hence, this petition serves as an urgent call to action. We must stand up against the inappropriate interference of DRO in RWA works, uphold the rights defined in the Bylaws and HRRS Act 2012, and oppose the unjust appointment of administrators in a functioning RWA and which has financial implications as extra burden on residents pockets only. We need your support to ensure our voices aren't overlooked while crucial decisions concerning our societies are being made. Let's champion fairness and accountability together. Please sign this petition.
