Only 20 Neighbours were notified about 2652 new homes.
Tribute / Fergus Oaks has a plan to develop 560 Acres on the Irvine River, adding an estimated 2652 units to house 11216 people.
The plan allocates areas for an elementary school, a Secondary school, commercial blocks and 3 Stormwater Ponds. The development requires its own ground water well and reservoir, is located next to three provincially significant wetland areas and will require pumping sewage down Beatty Line and across the Grand River to the Treatment Plant.
By law, Public Consultation requires written letter notification to properties within 120 meters of the subject property. The Tribute / Fergus Oaks plan affects every resident of Fergus, Elora & Salem, but only “legally” had to notify the closest 20 neighbours. They’re obviously not interested in what we might say. Perhaps they don’t want us to get in their way?
