Hello friends,

Thank you for signing this petition to tell the Brea City Council and the BOUSD Board of Education to oppose building a Raising Cane’s next to Laurel Elementary School. Even though that didn’t go as we have hoped, there are other avenues that we are taking. We are still standing for the safety of Laurel and the surrounding community.

One avenue is this petition directly telling Raising Cane’s to change their current plans to build a location next to Laurel. It’s time they hear from the public. We need to make our opinions heard! Please sign and share this petition: change.org/StandForSafety

Also, our campaign / volunteer organization is going to be rebranding. Secure Gaslight Neighborhood will be Safer Avenues For Everyone (SAFE). Eventually, all our media and social media will reflect that to be consistent. Why? The reason is because now our focus is on the safety for the overall community (the school, neighbors, local businesses, pedestrians etc), not mainly Gaslight Square.
