Please help in opening the restrictive medical marijuana treatment platform to a method that is affordable and fair to all patients and providers, and stops a monopoly on Minnesota treatment services’

 We seek help from the public to help show our voice to law makers in Minnesota. Your support in this is not only needed, it vital to any initiative for change that is because Minnesota is not a citizen led ballot initiative state.

As a medical marijuana patient in the state of Minnesota you can be expected to pay 200 dollars to register for your medical marijuana program, after initial medical bills for certification. This cost although unwanted is expected in most states that have medical marijuana initiatives with one large exception. Minnesota’s medical marijuana program is a self-cultivation, and usage form restrictive state. Which means that patients are forced to pay an additional 1000 or more a month in purchasing there materials from leaf line facilities which do to the highly restrict laws of Minnesota have monopolized the medical marijuana distribution of the state. For patients on a limited income paying for their medical needs this is a massive problem. especially if you take into account that most patients in other medical marijuana state programs who have access to self-cultivation, and all form of consumption are able to maintain their health without the massive costs that patients in Minnesota have to accommodate for medical marijuana patients of Minnesota to be able to:

·         Allow self-cultivation for themselves and those under their care.

·         Allow for all forms of consumption of marijuana for medical marijuana patients

·         Allow for more caregivers then just leaf line labs

·         Lowers the restrictions to become a distrubuting caregiver so to decrees state wide prices.

·         Remove the restrictions that prevent medical marijuana patients from owning caregiver facilities

To this end we hope that you acknowledge the need for the addition of self-cultivation, and all forms of use, to the Minnesota marijuana program for both patients and providers.
