Open Letter to Premier Eby to Withdraw Bill 36

Open Letter to Premier Eby to Withdraw Bill 36
The Issue
Hello Mr. Eby
Over the last six days I have been consumed with putting my finger on the pulse of Canadians to see if anyone wants this bill to pass at all. I have spoken to some of the 2,000 nurses your government terminated and they certainly do not want anything to do with this bill. I spoke to medical doctors and they had nothing but contempt for Mr. Adrian Dix whom they view as a bureaucrat wholly unfit to oversee the changes he is attempting to enact. I spoke to journalists who all claim to have received the green light from their management to pursue this story. I, then, spoke to politicians who ran in the recent local elections. The consensus among all was that we are beyond mere protesting and we need to either look into the possibility of recalling our legislators or, if necessary, in 2024, running for MLA positions on common sense principles (ie. family, faith, culture and the long forgotten concept of personal responsibility). If none of that works, then we would have to look into some "scorched earth" strategy to facilitate getting nurses, doctors and people of means in general, out of British Columbia and into neighbouring Alberta where their Premier is pursuing legislation that is wholly in the interests of her people.
People are pointing out specific problems with the bill but I think that is a mistake on their part. They point out that the bill mandates forced vaccinations, but I maintain that Canada crossed that line two years ago when the media failed to hold our Prime Minister accountable for his monstrous language. They point out that this will bring the College of Physicians under the umbrella of government, but I maintain that, since the 40's, Ottawa has embarked on an experiment to embed socialized medicine into the national identity of Canada and to make it all but impossible to extricate. They point out that this bill attempts to sneak through hundreds of unrelated items, but I maintain that our governments stopped acting in the best interests of their electorate decades ago, but certainly after the 2008 financial crash.
I believe Canada's experiment in social democratic policy has reached a breaking point. From Egerton Ryerson to our present day public education system and from Tommy Douglas to our current socialized health care system, government has put us on this trajectory towards the welfare state as if that would act as some form of paradise. However, over the last two years, with the appearance of the Sars Cov2 virus and under the pandemic measures, the government has proven itself perfectly willing to withhold crucial public services such as health care and public education for children. These services were created by the people, and they belong to the people. God did not bestow these services to any government to wield as a club to bludgeon the people with it as it sees fit.
I implore you sir, instruct Mr. Adrian Dix to withdraw this bill or you risk awakening so many people that in 2024 you may find that your party ceases to exist as a meaningful movement.
I hope you make the right decision, sir. I hope you do what is best for the people of British Columbia, sir.
Sincerely,
Dr. Peyman Askari
