Dear Sir, Requesting you to kindly do the needful action so that the students studying in the colleges at Mangalore (in Karnataka state), who are from Kasaragod district will get a travelling concession or travelling pass to travel up and down on a daily basis. This is an inter state route, where the 99% of bus service is provided KSRTC (both Kerala & Karnataka KSRTCs). The ticket rate from Kasaragod to Mangalore is around 56/- which means the students has to pay an amount of Rupees 112/- daily to travel up and down. The distance between Kasaragod and Mangalore is of 50 KM . As we have limited seats/colleges for higher studies in the district, we need to do our higher studies in Mangalore. There are thousands of students who are travelling up and down on a daily basis in this route.
