9/11 Memorial Parade disrespected by Queens community board 10 members abusing their power, Chairperson Betty Braton interfered with a request made to NYPD to have the 9/11 Parade pass the home of the youngest first responder (18) killed on 9/11/01 (also lived in their district), the event starts 13 blocks from the family home where he resided. (This peaceful event has been sanctioned for 5 years with permits and “0” complaints) QCB10 # 718-843-4488

the NYPD authorized the request, CB 10 called making numerous threats to report at a command level in regards, COMPLETELY out of Authority, the permit was in its final stage to be signed off, when CB10 LIED to officials stating it will interfere with Church & Synagog parishioners along the route, the NYPD couldn’t confirm this because of time sensitivity, so the route was not adjusted. 

the Synagog & Church were Participating with prayers to all the attendees during its passing. 

This is an abuse of power, a disrespect for religious service and 9/11 first responders who died that day and continue to die from 9/11 related illness. 

a swift removal and new slate needs to happen immediately! These positions of power in the community for long periods of time destroy expansion and fresh ideas with events.
