Clear Channel Communications, currently known as iHeartMedia Inc., is an American mass media conglomerate headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. The company was founded in 1972 and is currently one of the leading entertainment companies specializing in radio, digital, outdoor, mobile, social, live events, and on-demand entertainment. It owns and operates more than 850 terrestrial radio stations in the United States, making it the largest owner of radio stations in the country. Apart from its footprint in the U.S., Clear Channel Communications also has a network of media outlets in international markets.
